Parker weighed nearly 20 pounds above against the British boxer as each heavyweights displayed confident figures - although in opposing styles - for Saturday's headliner in the UK.

Spitalfields Market in east London hosted not just typical items on the weighing platform as the two boxers confronted each other for the final time prior to the main event.

Parker flashed a wink at the lenses and swayed along to the beat.

Showing off his muscles, he seemed powerful and strong as he tipped the scales at 18st 10lb, only five pounds less than his career-heaviest.

This represents a major change from the 107 kg iteration who surrendered his belt to Anthony Joshua in the year 2018.

"We are cautious, we're cautious, but I'm going to respond with equal force and I intend to connect with him," Joseph Parker stated.

Wardley, sporting an football shirt, kept a serious expression, acknowledged the audience, but looked zoned in.

Despite being the smaller man, Fabio Wardley has exceptional KO strength. He staged a remarkable recovery against his opponent in the summer, trailing on the official tallies then defeating his opponent in the final round even though being outmaneuvered for much of the contest.

"His opponent, his team and the sport's followers are about to discover I am meant to be at the peak of this weight class," Wardley stated.

"Each rival has been the fighter pundits claim will overcome me. This is that fight. His attributes include superior speed, too fast, highly seasoned. Yet I haven't been beaten yet, and no one will alter on fight night."
